Loryma is a manufacturer of wheat-based ingredients. As a cooperation partner, the team will support STOCKMEIER Food at this year's FI/HI Europe in Frankfurt with the presentation of vegan alternatives. While STOCKMEIER Food specialises in flavours, Loryma has expertise in wheat texturates and functional blends. Samples of Loryma's plant-based application concepts will be offered for tasting at the stand, both unflavoured and flavoured. Visitors can thus get an idea of the sensory properties of wheat-based bacon, plant-based meatballs and the newly developed vegan scrambled egg substitute.
Flavour experts from STOCKMEIER and a contact person from Loryma will be present at the STOCKMEIER stand on each day of the fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to get their own impression of the texture of the vegan alternative products and the possible taste of the end product.
The ingredients of the entire Loryma product range are neutral in taste and smell. They therefore provide the ideal basis for adapting the flavour without off-taste. The formulation of hybrid products is also possible. Each Loryma concept includes a flavouring that has been developed by STOCKMEIER Food to precisely fit the respective application. For example, the Flavourist team has put together a special composition so that the vegan scrambled egg variant corresponds not only in appearance and texture, but also in taste to the animal original.
