Stobicast® HC

STOCKMEIER Urethanes’ aromatic isocyanate prepolymers offer multiple hardness’s, tightly controlled NCO ranges and viscosities suitable for numerous applications demanding a high-performance hot cast urethane system. They can also offer better abrasion resistance, less brittleness, greater resistance to cut and tear, higher load bearing and offer a more versatile molding method which allows for more rapid implementation and freedom of design.

MDI and TDI Terminated Polyester Prepolymer(s)

The benefits of MDI and TDI based polyester prepolymers are superior chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and tear resistance. Designed for use in high property elastomers, elastomeric coatings and adhesive applications, these products are available with various NCOs. 

Stobicast® HC 1521

An MDI terminated polyester prepolymer with high abrasion and tear resistance designed for applications such as tires and die cut blankets. 

Stobicast® HC 1523

An MDI terminated polyester prepolymer with high tear resistance designed for applications such as castor wheels.

MDI and TDI Terminated Polyether Prepolymer(s)

The benefits of MDI and TDI based polyether prepolymers include high resiliency, hydrolytic stability and microbial resistance. The benefits of TDI-based polyether prepolymers include hydrolytic stability and microbial resistance. These products are available with various NCOs. 

Stobicast® HC 1525

An MDI terminated PTMEG prepolymer with high resilience designed for applications such as hydro cyclones, wheels and bushings 

Stobicast® HC 1533

High performance MDI terminated polyether prepolymer that allows for variable hardness capabilities.  

Stobicast® HC 1547

MDI-terminated Polyether prepolymer that is designed for use in high property cast and molded elastomers and elastomeric coatings. 

Curatives

Curatives are used with the prepolymers to form a chemical reaction. Different curatives will create different final properties. Our hot cast curative options include: 1,4 Butanediol; 1,2 Ethylene Glycol; and 1,2 Propanediol.
