Who are the YouPros?
The group represents different countries, business units, functions, a lot of knowledge and motivation. While the internationality is reflected in the composition of the countries (with colleagues from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Belgium and the Middle East), there is also wide variety in terms of professional experience. With knowledge from procurement, sales, production, marketing, IT, EHS and administration, a cross-divisional exchange and learning from each other is guaranteed. “It was really interesting to meet the colleagues from all the other locations and see what challenges they face in their jobs and careers.”, sums up Steven Minch from STOCKMEIER Urethanes in Lemgo.
What was the kick-off about?
The main goals of the kick-off workshop were to get to know each other, develop project ideas and establish project teams, as well as a joint team event. “The kick-off was really great. I loved the activities such as our archery session. Plus the location and food was amazing.”, says Ranjeet Singh from STOCKMEIER Urethanes in Dubai. During the year, workshops on various topics (e.g. project management) will be held and participants collaborate on their project continuously. Each group is accompanied by a mentor who provides advice and support.
Let's shape the future together
In the run-up to the kick-off workshop, the participants had already thought about what topics they were concerned with and submitted possible project ideas. Over 40 project ideas have been submitted, from which the participants have now selected four projects to work on. They focus on health management, knowledge transfer, job rotation and new work.

Playing taboo or musical chairs? Let's go! The YouPros came up with an entertainment programme and let us tell you, that was a lot of fun! The atmosphere during these 2,5 intensive workshop days was energizing and unique - no wonder the the group is growing closely together. “It was very nice to see how complete strangers from international branches can connect within 2.5 days and build a team. It feels like a family right know.”, is how Yannick Gathen from STOCKMEIER Food in Herford describes the dynamic.
Conclusion
Everyone was absolutely enthusiastic about the programme launch and the YouPros have already gained many impressions. “It is such a great chance to be here. We could all learn from each other.” says Selina Bergmann from STOCKMEIER Chemie in Bielefeld about the programme. “I can definitely recommend the programme to future applicants.”, agrees Elzbieta Gray from STOCKMEIER Chemia in Poznań.
