“STOCKMEIER has been the sole shareholder of Quaron since July 2019. We felt that it was important to affirm via our company name that we fully belong to the STOCKEMEIER Group and share the same values”, explains Patrick Nguyen-Duhamel, president at STOCKMEIER. “By changing the name from Quaron to STOCKMEIER France, we want our customers, suppliers and other business partners to identify us as being part of the Stockmeier Group, for instance when we participate in trade shows.”
The official name change was effective on October 1st, 2022, but it required months of preparation beforehand. First the company agreed with the STOCKMEIER Group’s communication department upon our the graphic charter, new logos for the various product ranges etc. Then the team had to replace all Quaron road signs with STOCKMEIER road signs, redo all labels, brochures, catalogues, letterhead, internal documents (invoices, safety data sheets), business cards, stamp pads, work clothes etc. The IT department had to change all the email addresses, redesign the website and LinkedIn pages, and they had to send out mailings to inform all the customers, suppliers, banks, authorities etc. about the new name. They also had to take care of updating our brand names registrations and administrative authorizations.
The management anticipates a positive impact from the name change. STOCKMEIER is viewed as a very strong pan-European player in the chemical distribution market and they expect the new name to generate additional business opportunities.
