1990

STOCKMEIER Kunststoffe in 1991 in Bielefeld

Our 30+ Years of History

In 1990, Jürgen Stockmeier and Edwin Martinkat began a venture to form STOCKMEIER Urethanes Group, a polyurethane systems house focused on the development and production of coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers. In May of 1991 their hard work and dedication paid off, and the first STOCKMEIER Urethanes site was incorporated in Bielefeld, Germany. Over the next 30 years, the company continued to grow and owns several sites worldwide.

1991

STOCKMEIER Kunststoffe starts - Headquarters at Eckendorfer Straße 10 in Bielefeld that time.

1996

STOCKMEIER acquires SNAD SA in Cernay France (today STOCKMEIER Urethanes France S.A.S)

1999

STOCKMEIER Kunststoffe started exporting to the United States.

2003

STOCKMEIER USA incorporated.

2004

STOCKMEIER Kunststoffe GmbH became STOCKMEIER Urethanes GmbH & Co. KG.

2010

STOCKMEIER Urethanes GmbH & Co. KG Germany moves to Lemgo.

2011

Acquisition of Greenfield Polymers in Sowerby Bridge, United Kingdom (todays STOCKMEIER Urethanes UK Ltd.) by the STOCKMEIER Urethanes Group.

2013

Major expansion in STOCKMEIER Urethanes USA, Inc.

2016

STOCKMEIER Urethanes Group celebrates its 25th anniversary.

2017

Major expansion in STOCKMEIER Urethanes France S.A.S.

2021

The STOCKMEIER Urethanes Group celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2021. In the same year, the expansion of the Lemgo site in Germany is completed. The new EMEA / APAC headquarter provides space for administration and research & development. The group is well positioned for the future.

Jan 2023

STOCKMEIER Urethanes ME LLC opens a warehouse in Dubai which provides good connectivity, proximity and accessibility for transportation, and sufficient space for future expansion.

STOCKMEIER Urethanes USA 20-Year Event at 4T Arena in Clarksburg, West Virginia

May 2023

STOCKMEIER Urethanes USA employees celebrate 20-years with coworkers, family and friends at 4T Arena with musical guests Davisson Brothers Brand and Eighties Enough.
