Molding

Stobicoll® R 352

Premium, medium-soft, solvent and extender free, moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane binder. Medium reactivity. Designed to produce a variety of molded parts comprised of recycled tire granules. Imparts a combination of high strength and flexibility. Differing cure rates available to meet varying production processes and schedules. Suitable for ambient and heated processes up to 300 °F. Common end products include, but are not limited to - rubber mats, safety tiles, landscape edging, rubber pavers, steppingstones and tree rings.

Stobicoll® R 1142

Economical alternative to R 352. Solvent free and imparts high strength and flexibility with comparable or superior properties. Medium reactivity. Lower viscosity for improved wetting of rubber granules. Better suited for mixing with fine mesh rubber where increased surface area combined with a higher viscosity binder can cause difficulty in completely encapsulating the binder around the granules. Best suited for processes between 150 – 300 °F. Common end products include, but are not limited to - rubber mats, safety tiles, landscape edging, rubber pavers, steppingstones, parking curb stops and decorative mats.

Stobicoll® R 1124

Economical alternative to R 1142 while delivering the majority of mechanical properties. Solvent free. Medium reactivity. Ideal for molded parts that are expected to encounter little mechanical stress. Best suited for processes between 150 – 300 °F. Common end products include, but are not limited to - sign bases, landscape edging, decorative mats and sound barriers.

Stobicoll® R 359

Premium, medium-hard, solvent and extender free, moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane binder. Medium-high reactivity. Designed to produce a variety of molded parts comprised of recycled tire granules where frequent mechanical stress is expected. Imparts a combination of high strength and flexibility but more rigid than R 352. Differing cure rates available to meet varying production processes and schedules. Suitable for ambient and heated processes up to 300 °F. Common end products include, but are not limited to – lifting bumper plates, rubber mats, safety tiles, rubber pavers, parking curb stops, speed bumps & speed humps, dock bumpers and wheel chocks.

Stobicoll® R 1163

Economical alternative to R 359. Solvent free. Offers a combination of hardness & flexibility. Medium-high reactivity. Best suited for processes between 150 – 300 °F. Common end products include, but are not limited to – lifting bumper plates, rubber mats, safety tiles, rubber pavers, parking curb stops, speed bumps & speed humps, dock bumpers and wheel chocks.

Stobicoll® R 402

One-component non pigmented multi-purpose binder suitable for the recycled rubber industry.

Molded Cylinders

Stobicoll® R 1129

Premium, medium-hard, solvent and extender free, moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane binder. Low reactivity. Workhorse binder for bound recycled-tire cylinder production. Solvent & extender free. Provides a long open time for processes that require multiple mixes to fill the mold. Suitable for ambient processes up to 100 °F. Common end products include but are not limited to – molded cylinders comprised of recycled tire and/or recycled tire/EPDM rubber mixtures that are skived into mats for weight and fitness rooms, and indoor sports-flooring underlayment.

Stobicoll® R 1133

Premium, medium-hard, solvent and extender free, moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane binder. Low reactivity. Solvent & extender free. Provides the longest open time and a faster backend cure for quicker demolding. Suitable for ambient processes up to 100 °F. Common end products include but are not limited to – cork bonding and molded cylinders comprised of recycled tire and/or recycled tire/EPDM rubber mixtures that are skived into mats for weight and fitness rooms, and indoor sports-flooring underlayment.

Stobicoll® R 1137

Premium, medium-hard, solvent and extender free, moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane binder. Low reactivity.  Solvent & extender free. Provides a long open time for processes that require multiple mixes to fill the mold while also delivering a faster backend cure for quicker demolding. Suitable for ambient processes up to 100 °F. Common end products include but are not limited to – molded cylinders comprised of recycled tire and/or recycled tire/EPDM rubber mixtures that are skived into mats for weight rooms, fitness areas and indoor sports-flooring underlayment.

Stobicoll® R 1156 LV2

Economical alternative to R 1129. Solvent free and imparts high strength and flexibility with comparable or superior properties. Low to medium reactivity. Suitable for ambient processes up to 100 °F. Common end products include but are not limited to – molded cylinders comprised of recycled tire and/or recycled tire/EPDM rubber mixtures that are skived into mats for weight and fitness rooms, and indoor sports-flooring underlayment.

Post industrial Bonded Foam

Stobicoll® R 1139

Medium-viscosity, soft, solvent-free, moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane binder. Medium reactivity. Suitable for processes that utilize steam or high heat and water. Common end products include but are not limited to - molded scrap foam cylinders that are skived into mats for carpet underlayment.

Stobicoll® R 1162

Low-viscosity, soft, solvent-free, moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane binder. Medium reactivity. Suitable for processes that utilize steam or high heat and water. Common end products include but are not limited to - molded scrap foam cylinders that are skived into mats for carpet underlayment.

Pigmented Molding
