The supreme discipline of sun care: UV filters

UV filters are not only essential for sun care products, they are now used in almost all day care products to protect the skin. In decorative cosmetics, they also protect color pigments from light-induced changes.
5 questions to ...
2. What is your role in the STOCKMEIER Personal Care Team?
I support two areas. In the regulatory area, I prepare documents and ensure that our products comply with legal requirements. I also work in R&D. We experiment and combine raw materials, develop exciting formulations, and test them in various applications.
3. Why did you want to pursue a career in personal care?
Cosmetic products are an indispensable part of everyday life. I find it fascinating to understand the ingredients in the products we use every day. The opportunity to contribute to the development of these products is incredibly exciting and enriching, as they can improve people's lives through skin care, hair care, or other cosmetic applications.
4. Which products inspire you the most?
Creative and innovative products particularly inspire me, as they show how different raw materials can be processed into different textures and forms of cosmetics. It is also interesting to see how regulatory requirements influence development and innovation in the cosmetics industry.
5. How do you balance your work and personal life?
Baking is one of my favorite pastimes; it allows me to try out new recipes and whip up something delicious. I generally keep fit and healthy by exercising regularly. I have also come to enjoy gardening in the fresh air - it's a wonderful way to switch off and be productive.
