Every year, STAUB & CO. - SILBERMANN GmbH sells its own honey to the workforce. The proceeds are doubled by the management and donated to changing charitable institutions.
2021 was not a good year for bees, beekeepers and honey lovers, and unfortunately no proceeds were generated via the honey sale. But the employees have changed that. To be able to donate again this year, the staff organized a raffle. The more than 200 employees raised the proud sum of 800 € through the sales of the raffle. The sum was doubled by the company so that a total of 1,600 € could be donated.
On behalf of the employees, the works council selected two charitable institutions from the Augsburg region. Both are strongly committed to helping children.
Dachskinder e.V.
The Dachskinder e. V. association can look forward to €800. The registered association is building a short-term care facility for children and young people with disabilities. Dachskinder e.V. is a helpful contact for families concerning the care of children with disabilities.
Glühwürmchen e.V.
Another €800 went to Glühwürmchen e.V. The aim of the association, founded by parents and relatives of children with cancer, is to provide fast and unbureaucratic help in the form of talks, advice, support and financial donations.
