STOCKMEIER Chemie Eilenburg donated disinfectant to Leipzig schools

The Eilenburg chemical company STOCKMEIER Chemie Eilenburg supports the Leipzig schools with disinfectant. With this donation STOCKMEIER wants to make a contribution to a safe start at school.

The gradual opening of the Leipzig schools is imminent. Many parents are worried whether the schools will be able to cope with the increased hygienic requirements. The STOCKMEIER Chemie Eilenburg GmbH & Co. KG now supports the schools and the city of Leipzig quickly and unbureaucratically. The chemical company is donating 1350 bottles of hand disinfection solution from the STOCKMEIER Group's production.

Managing director Dr. Boris Hinz and deputy plant manager Anton Schwenke handed over the hand disinfection to mayor Prof. Dr. Thomas Fabian and the CDU's spokesperson for educational policy in the Saxon state parliament Holger Gasse today at the Georg-Schumann-School (Leipzig). "We hope that we can make a contribution to the safe restart of our educational system as the basis of our society. Perhaps we will also succeed in getting more students interested in training in chemistry," said Dr. Hinz. "We would also like to thank Peter Stockmeier for supporting our initiative.

The STOCKMEIER Chemie Eilenburg GmbH & Co. KG is one of the largest manufacturers of peracetic acid-based disinfectants in Europe. The company also sells other chemicals to industrial companies and professional resellers in eastern Germany. STOCKMEIER Chemie Eilenburg is part of the Bielefeld STOCKMEIER Group.
