Aroma Bázis is a medium-sized company specialising in the production of flavourings for the food and feed industries. STOCKMEIER Food from Herford has a long and successful cooperation with Bázis. The acquisition is intended to further expand this business.
"The ever-increasing share of our business in Eastern Europe and Russia has brought our operations in Herford more and more to its limits. The takeover is intended to support the further growth of STOCKMEIER Food in Eastern Europe with its own location in the region," says Uwe Tilk, Managing Director of STOCKMEIER Food GmbH & Co. KG.
Investments will be made in the Csömör site near Budapest. The sales department will be expanded and the production capacities enlarged. Through integration into the STOCKMEIER Group, the product range for STOCKMEIER Food's customers in the Balkan region will be significantly broadened. All products manufactured by Aroma Bázis so far will continue to be produced in Hungary and will be available to customers in the well-known quality. Gergely Virag takes over the management of STOCKMEIER Food Kft. in Hungary.
