The new Actros 5 will arrive for the STOCKMEIER Group in Bielefeld in the next few weeks. They will replace older vehicles in the fleet. The trucks are equipped with the latest safety assistance systems such as Active Break Assist (emergency brake assistant) and the turn-off assistant. These systems support the drivers and ensure even greater safety when transporting the chemical products.
The managers of STOCKMEIER Logistics, Andreas Sill and Sebastian Ringels, did not miss the opportunity to personally pick up two of the vehicles from the plant in Wörth
"Even though not too much has changed in the external appearance of the new trucks, the vehicles are full of new innovations that make the workplace even safer, more comfortable and more efficient for our drivers.Compared to the previous models, the technology has developed enormously, the equipment has become even more comprehensive and will support our drivers in their everyday work even more optimally.
Equipped with all currently available safety systems, the new vehicles are a further step forward in every respect to be able to further increase delivery efficiency and at the same time make it safer," said Sebastian Ringels after the first drive in the new Actros.
