This highly competitive, yearlong leadership program is designed to cultivate emerging leaders in the chemical industry by providing them with in-depth training, networking opportunities, and hands-on experience in sustainability and Responsible Care® initiatives. The American Chemistry Council (ACC) established the RCSFL program to develop future industry leaders who will drive innovation and advance sustainability efforts across the chemical sector. Each year, the program receives applications from a diverse and talented pool of candidates across ACC’s nearly 150 member companies and 100 Responsible Care Partner organizations, making selection a distinguished achievement.
Vanessa was chosen for this honor based on her exceptional leadership potential, her keen understanding of industry challenges, and her strong alignment with the program’s mission. Through this opportunity, she will engage with industry experts, collaborate with peers, and gain valuable insights that will help shape the future of sustainable practices at STOCKMEIER Urethanes and beyond.
This milestone also marks an exciting continuation of STOCKMEIER Urethanes’ legacy within the program, as Vanessa follows in the footsteps of Lorenzo Garcia, a 2023 RCSFL graduate. Having two employees recognized for this program underscores our company’s dedication to leadership development, sustainability, and operational excellence.
“We are incredibly proud of Vanessa for earning this well-deserved opportunity,” said Melissa Martinkat, Chief Operations Officer at STOCKMEIER Urethanes USA. “Her selection reflects her outstanding contributions, and we are eager to see how this experience will empower her to drive positive change within our company and the broader industry.”
