A varied evening programme was organised for all participants. It began with a tour of the Bielefeld site, which ended at the House of Innovations with a presentation of our formulation technology. A subsequent get-together at the Kocherei restaurant provided the perfect setting for the keynote speech ‘Harmonised classification of ethanol and possible implications for the cosmetics industry’ given by Dr Michael Wilz.
The 20-minute ‘Pitch-on-the-Point’ presentation format was used for the first time. This compact presentation concept was supported by an accompanying in-house exhibition. The speakers presented the most important content concisely and to the point; detailed technical questions were then discussed in more depth at the suppliers' stands together with STOCKMEIER colleagues.
The contributions from renowned raw material manufacturers conveyed the latest knowledge from the product areas of surfactants, cosmetic active ingredients, emollients & oils, preservatives and viscosity regulators – for applications in natural cosmetics as well as conventional cosmetics.
Michael Zschiesche, Director Life Science Europe, drew an extremely positive conclusion:
‘My personal highlight was the high-tech active ingredients. The surfactant workshop was also absolutely outstanding. I have rarely seen such great interest and downright euphoric customers after a specialist event like this.’
Feedback from participants was also consistently positive. Particular praise was given to the high quality and diversity of the presentations, the balanced mix of supplier partners, products and presentations, and the numerous networking opportunities.
The event clearly demonstrated how dynamically personal care speciality chemicals are continuing to develop. Never before has STOCKMEIER received so many enquiries about samples, raw materials, formulations and specific project initiatives in the aftermath of an event.
STOCKMEIER is delighted with the great success of Personal Care Day 2026 and looks forward with confidence to upcoming industry events.
