On January 20 and 21, 2025, the event "STOCKMEIER Urethanes Meets Friends – Black Forest Winter Edition 2025" took place in the beautiful town of Freudenstadt in the Black Forest (Germany). The renowned Hotel Fritz Lauterbad provided the perfect setting for this special gathering.
A total of 34 participants from partner companies of the sport and leisure flooring business across Europe – including countries such as Hungary, Romania, France, Spain, Poland, Germany, and Switzerland – accepted the invitation from the European branches of STOCKMEIER Urethanes. The goal was to create value together, exchange experiences, and forge promising networks.
The official program opened with a warm welcome from Markus Lamb (CEO EMEA/APAC) and Ralf Zehrendt (Head of Sales Europe). Participants gained valuable insights into the latest advancements in the water-based products and mass balance technologies, presented by R&D expert Tim Blundell (CTO EMEA/APAC) and his team. This was followed by Gary Hayward (Sales Manager), who provided an overview of the application opportunities for Stobicoat® N binders for decorative and permeable stone surfaces. The program concluded with presentations from Jochen Saumweber (SMG), Markus Deimling, (PR Recycling), and Stephan Raul (AZuR Network), who shared their industry expertise.
In addition to the professional highlights, the event provided ample opportunities for networking. Participants bonded on a personal level during a cozy fondue evening at a mountain hut, featuring a torch-lit hike and a guided walk through the scenic Black Forest.The grand finale was a first-class dinner at the Forum Culinaire in Durbach, masterfully prepared by Gerhard Volk and his team.
