STOCKMEIER expands its specialty chemicals portfolio by acquiring a majority stake in Intercoat Specialties SL

Bielefeld - The STOCKMEIER Group announces the acquisition of a majority stake in the Spanish company Intercoat Specialties SL, marking a significant strategic step in strengthening its specialty chemicals business. Established in 1997 in Molins de Rei (Barcelona), Intercoat Specialties SL is mostly active within the coatings, printing ink and construction industries.

The acquisition strengthens STOCKMEIE’s presence in Europe, particularly within the coatings market segments. The innovative portfolio of resins and UV-curing additives enhances STOCKMEIER’s product portfolio. Combined with value-added services even greater value for the Groups´ customers can be provided.
