On July 2nd, 2025, STOCKMEIER Urethanes Group officially broke ground on its new production facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, during a dedicated launch ceremony. This marks a major milestone in the company’s regional growth strategy and reflects its clear commitment to the principle: “Delivering Globally, Acting Locally.”
The new site will significantly enhance the company’s ability to serve customers across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific (MEA/APAC) region. By manufacturing polyurethane systems locally, STOCKMEIER Urethanes will reduce lead times, meet regional market demands more precisely, and offer faster technical response and service.
“We invest where our customers are. With this new site in Dubai, we’re building the foundation for closer collaboration, increased flexibility, and tailored local solutions,” says Markus Lamb, CEO of STOCKMEIER Urethanes EMEA/APAC.
Official Ceremony with Project Stakeholders
The groundbreaking ceremony was held in the presence of key project partners and guests. This included the local STOCKMEIER Urethanes team consisting of Shailesh Patil (Project Manager), Aditya Thapar (Sales Manager), Abdul Nassar (Logistics Officer, unfortunately, he couldn’t join the event in person), Nikita Sequeira (Inside Sales Officer), and Cresilda Avenido (Administration Officer), who planned, organized, and supported the entire event. Following a traditional ceremony, Ranjeet Singh, Managing Director of STOCKMEIER Urethanes Middle East, welcomed attendees with a project presentation. “CEO EMEA/APAC Markus Lamb then addressed the audience before the team proceeded with the ceremonial first dig.
“This project is more than just a new facility – it’s a promise to our customers in the region. We want to show that we speak their language, understand their needs, and provide solutions that truly fit – right here where they are,” emphasized Ranjeet Singh, Managing Director Middle East.
The new facility is scheduled to begin operations in 2026.
