Governance & Compliance

Our policy guidelines

We embrace responsibility

The STOCKMEIER Group guidelines

To us, sustainable and responsible corporate management is more than just a promise. We aim to make a decisive contribution to sustainable management every day, from which people, communities and markets worldwide benefit – today and in future.

As the Management Board, we bear responsibility for the environment and the health and safety of our employees through our entrepreneurial activities. This is why all of our business relationships are based on mutual trust and reliability – a principle of responsibility that we embrace in all areas. For the STOCKMEIER Group, the Global Compact of the United Nations, which defines social and ecological goals, is the foundation for sustainable entrepreneurship. With this clear commitment to sustainability, we have taken on co-responsibility for a better world. As a familyrun company with a history spanning more than 100 years, we follow a course of long-term, sustainable growth with a focus on Europe. Based on fairness, reliability and performance, we continuously develop further in order to satisfy our partners’ wishes as completely as possible and to be a good employer for our staff.

The step towards zero

Our guiding targets

  1. Customer and supplier satisfaction is the basis of our business success. This is why we aspire to 0 errors and 0 complaints for our activities.
  2. Our employees are our most valuable capital. Alongside training courses at regular intervals, we also want to protect them for their personal and professional further development. We aspire to ensure 0 work-related accidents and 0 harmful effects on the health of our employees.
  3. Companies like ours can only develop freely in an intact environment. This is why we are obligated to conserve natural resources: We want to be the cause of 0 harmful environmental effects and by 2035, aspire to 0 carbon emissions.
  4. We focus on people. This is why we can only accept 0 violations of human rights through our product procurement activities and others.
  5. Fairness and transparency are the top priorities for our company. This is why 0 compliance violations is an automatic stipulation for all of our processes.

Employee Code of Conduct

For the ethical behaviour at our company

We have grown into a global company over the years. This has led us to come onto contact with a wide varity of values through out our working day. For this reason it is important that we clarify our Group's values an what we consider as acceptable. Therefor we have created the Employee Code of Conduct for ethical behavaviour at our company.

The document outlines the values principles, and behavioural guidelines for business acticities at the STOCKMEIER Group. It applies to all employees, members of the management team an shareholders of the Group.

Supplier Code of Conduct

For sustainable supply

The STOCKMEIER Group ist commited to acting according to six company values in all its business activities, when dealing with customers, suppliers and competitors, and when interacting with employees and the general public. We strive for a long-term and sustainable cooperation with our partners.

We have defined the key characteristics that our suppliers must demonstrate in order to support sustainable procurement. We have documented these as basic principles in the "Supplier Code of Conduct". The Supplier Code of Conduct was developed to ensure that STOCKMEIER suppliers enforce safe working conditions, that their employees are treated with respect and dignity and that their manufacturing processes are environmentally responsible.
