PEKASOL® FG is a refrigeration and heat transfer fluid based on 1,2 propylene glycol for food processing and food manufacturing companies with NSF International approval. It is a colourless and odourless heat transfer fluid based on non-toxic and environmentally friendly monopropylene glycol, especially for the food industry and all applications where food quality is important.
The inhibitors reliably protect all materials commonly used in plant construction against sludge formation and corrosion. PEKASOL® FG is certified by NSF under HT1 in various ready-to-use dilutions and is offered exclusively in these concentrations. All ingredients are listed and approved by the FDA as food additives. Thus, in the event of an accident, the contamination of food products with the antifreeze is absolutely harmless and a health hazard in the event of unintentional consumption is excluded.
PEKASOL® FG is free of nitrite, amine, borate, silicate and nitrate.

The NSF has certified both the PEKASOL FG® concentrate and several difined dilutions. Only these dilutions mentioned in the dilution table correspond to the approval of the NSF.

PEKASOL® FG can be used both in heating systems and in cooling systems. Depending on the concentration, the operating temperatures range from -40 °C to +120 °C. All ready-to-fill dilutions supplied by us are diluted with deionised water (demineralised water). In order to ensure sufficient corrosion protection, the concentration should not fall below 26 % by volume. Only PEKASOL® FG must be used for refilling and concentrating, otherwise the NSF approval expires.PEKASOL® FG is suitable as an antifreeze additive for heating systems according to VDI 2035.

Cleaning agent PEX FG
The cleaning additive concentrate PEX FG is used for cleaning and conditioning cooling systems which are to be filled with PEKASOL® FG. It is free of amines and nitrite and all ingredients are listed by the FDA as food additives.
Corrosion protection additive KOROSIN FG
The corrosion protection additive KOROSIN FG increases the corrosion protection proportion in a system operated with PEKASOL® FG.

PEKASOL® FG is non-toxic and well biodegradable. PEKASOL® FG is certified by the NSF under HT1 and does not have to be labelled according to GHS. Water hazard class (WGK): 1, slightly water hazardous (according to VwVwS)
PEKASOL® FG is available in canisters, drums, IBCs and tankers. All containers are reusable packaging. Please empty completely before returning. Do not fill with other products!
PEKASOL® FG and all dilutions have good storage stability. Store in a dry place and avoid direct sunlight. PEKASOL® FG dilutions do not segregate even after prolonged storage. The applicable regulations must be observed during disposal.
