Earlier this year, STOCKMEIER Urethanes celebrated its 35th anniversary, reflecting on the company's journey from its beginnings in Germany to becoming an international polyurethane systems specialist. Now, the spotlight turns to the United Kingdom, where STOCKMEIER Urethanes UK Ltd. is celebrating 15 years in Sowerby Bridge.
The anniversary marks 15 years since the acquisition of Greenfield Polymers by the STOCKMEIER Urethanes Group, an important milestone that laid the foundation for the site's continued development as part of the international organization.
To celebrate the occasion, colleagues gathered at the Sowerby Bridge site to mark the anniversary and the completion of a new outdoor terrace. The new space provides employees with an additional area to connect and spend time together, representing a further investment in the workplace and employee wellbeing.
The event also included recognition of employee service anniversaries, with Rebecca Taziker celebrating 10 years of service and Daniel Littlewood marking 20 years with the business.
"Over the past 15 years, our site has developed into an important part of the STOCKMEIER Urethanes Group," said Gary Keegan, Site Director of STOCKMEIER Urethanes UK. "This anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on that journey, recognise the commitment of our team, and look ahead to the next chapter of growth and development in Sowerby Bridge."
