Due to the current corona situation, the audit was partly conducted as a remote audit. On 27.05.20 the auditor was personally on site to get a picture of the production and storage situation so that it could be included in the assessment.
FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000 are management systems for food safety

DEKRA audits management areas, HACCP programmes (hazard analysis in the food sector), production processes, structural conditions, traceability, maintenance & repair, pest monitoring, cleaning & disinfection, training courses, etc.
Implementing the new ISO 22000 : 2018 is challenging. Compared to the old version of ISO 22000 : 2005, the 2018 version includes the risk-based approach to the food industry, which distinguishes between risks at the operational level and the business level of the management system.
The successful recertification was made possible by the commitment of every employee. The new certificates are valid for 3 years. The audits by the certification body DEKRA are carried out annually. Next year in May the 1st surveillance audit (shortened audit) is scheduled.
