MAGNESIA "LIGHTWEIGHT FILLERS" are microspheres and materials with densities around or below 1.0 g/cm³. The portfolio includes classic ceramic microspheres, so-called cenospheres, glass microspheres, perlite-based spheres, naturally expanded products as well as artificially produced expanded granulates based on glass.
The high-quality fillers, which are marketed under the brand name "MagSpheres", are used in many high-temperature applications. In particular, the use in risers and various components, e.g. foundry moulds and cores, represents one of the main areas of application for the micro pellets.
